RE: Need help with server
Try stopping hotlinking or traffic from countries such as China who just leech your resources.

Thanks

Lord_Anubis Wrote:Easy, if your server is mainly used for proxies you can block them in the host file (etc/hosts), this is what my host file looks like

Code:
127.0.0.1  [i]host.yourdomain.com[/i] host localhost localhost.localdomain
69.65.126.37  [i]host.yourdomain host[/i]
0.0.0.0  bellsouth.net webmail.att.net members.cox.net *.cox.net cox.net webmail.cox.net webmail.west.cox.net webmail.east.cox.net webmail.central.cox.net
0.0.0.0  login.yahoo.com

If i am on shared hosting, i will not have access to etc/hosts will i?
Any other way to do this?
Maybe time to switch to glype, but i like my phpproxy the way it is, i dont want to have to change...
