I'm looking for more ways to promote my proxy. Lots of the other threads say to use Myspace Bulletins, Mailing lists, etc but don't really mention where to get it.

If you have a proxy promotion service (or know of a good one) let me know by posting it here. It would be nice to know where to get quality Myspace bulletins, how to get on some of these mailing lists, etc...

Myspace Bulletins never worked for me.

But I do use 2 newsletter services and both work out great for me

Dont depend only on these as these will bring trafic for just 2-3 dayd, try to work on bulding organic and longer lasting traffic. Usually i dont let my proxies go out through such newsletters before they are 4-5 months old(keeps proxies unblocked for longer)

Yea am aware of that, there is an auction going on at SP too about the same. But the reason for sale are different and have nothing to do with the results of the newsletter.

thanks guys. I am getting a steady stream of traffic (Not a big amount yet) and I am making a few bucks. So what do you suggest to get more longer lasting traffic? I've so far been using top sites, posting in any open news groups (proxy related), Yahoo groups, commenting on proxy related blog articles.

What else do you recommend?

Dont be greedy..
Too much exposure leads might get your site blocked earlier.

haha not tryin to be greedy just trying to make a bit more money LOL. Currently I'm only making about $1 - $1.5 (average) per day.

For february till this date,

I made $47 from adsense and $53 from adbrite.
These are from 4 proxy sites.

not bad nyunyu. I'm up to a total of about $20 since I started a few weeks ago. it's slowly getting better.

Wow I am actually surprised you are making more in adbrite than adsense. Ya never tried putting up the other ad networks in the proxified pages other than adbrite?
