Looking for help setting up an HTTPS Proxy Site
My proxies are getting blocked so fast lately, I need another way around this. For example I launched a brand new domain today and it is already blocked by Websense. So I am thinking of trying t setup an HTTPS Proxy, but have never done so. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Like a step by step orhelp me out?

RE: Looking for help setting up an HTTPS Proxy Site
Its very simple. Dont put proxy keywords on your proxy and won't get banned instanlty.

RE: Looking for help setting up an HTTPS Proxy Site
Get a SSL certificate around $60 per year.
Or can use comodo trial SSL certs but would annoy your visitor because the certs will give them popups. install the certs via your cpanel. PR4 Proxy List PR2 Proxy List Custom Proxy Templates for FREE! |

RE: Looking for help setting up an HTTPS Proxy Site
Ok I set it up using the comodo. And it works! Now I was reading the following:
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthrea...ttps+proxy So, how do you install SSL once ,and enjoy it on all your domain names hosted on your Hosting package, as per the above post? Has anyone ever done this? Any help on this would be appreciated! ProxySites.Ca Give Your Proxy the Z613 Effect~Only $5.00! |

RE: Looking for help setting up an HTTPS Proxy Site
I assume you installed a normal trial InstantSSL from comodo?
No, you can't installed once and expect it to be used on all your domains. For this you will need to BUY a wildcard SSL certs which cost a little higher than a normal SSL. just a head up, actually I am a official reseller of Comodo. You bought that for $15 while you are actually can get it for free. PR4 Proxy List PR2 Proxy List Custom Proxy Templates for FREE! |

RE: Looking for help setting up an HTTPS Proxy Site
-Yes, I used a trial SSL Cert and it works fine.
-The $15.00 offer in the link claims to install SSL once and have it work across all domains. I dont think he's sellin a Cert, but a service....He does it for you. -I have a dedicated IP Address ProxySites.Ca Give Your Proxy the Z613 Effect~Only $5.00! |

Z613 Wrote:So, how do you install SSL once ,and enjoy it on all your domain names hosted on your Hosting package, as per the above post? Has anyone ever done this? You said you had a dedicated IP, that will work for 1 site. SSL won't work to "enjoy" On all the domains. ![]() If you have 10 sites and you want all them to enjoy the SSL, you will need to get 9 more IP addresses. If you have a dedicated you can get a small block of IP usually. Like xx.xx.xx.xx/28 = 16 IP addresses Now unless you meant how to install MOD_SSL, but your server should already have it installed. |

RE: Looking for help setting up an HTTPS Proxy Site
WoW, Someone charge $15 to install a SSL certificate? lol
and people buy it? I must have an IQ of like 100, or I'm seeing things. Hey Z613 if you have WHM + Cpanel this should help to install SSL. http://www.hostingindy.com/tutorials/whm/ssl/ |
