Its always good to read up, research well before plunging fully into any business opportunity. No doubt one can make lots of $ with proxies, however without research one is bound to fail.

I don't plan on keeping them more than a week. I believe if I do a lot of promotion for it for 5 days straight then sell it. I could bring in a pretty good revenue.

Yeah, as long as your proxy has decent traffic, and of course revenue, you can sell them for profit.
