Apparently Fidel wrote a letter of resignation handing over power to his brother Raul Castro. Raul has been running day to day operations in Cuba for almost 2 years now and things have improved a little with him running things. Bush isn't going to let up on cuba while either Raul or fidel is in charge but I don't think thats a big deal cause Im actually rooting for a country like Cuba to strive without the aid of the US, cause the world is too top heavy.

I find it kind of funny that a dictator resigned. Doesn't seem quite right to me. I don't think he's shown his face since. Could he be dead?
