RE: Comments welcome for hidden1.com
I see your not putting any ads there? Just a small tip, I dont think it would be any good putting web hosting banner ad there as they probably wont convert at all.

Plain and simple and fast.
Overall, good. Did you only submit your proxy to SP? What about other sites? You are welcomed to submit yours to my listing site. PR4 Proxy List PR2 Proxy List Custom Proxy Templates for FREE! |

RE: Comments welcome for hidden1.com
Thanks so much to Swank & nyunyu for taking time out to check out my site.
Swank, the webhosting ad is the only ad I have on the main page. There is (should be) pay-per-play ads running every 3 minutes when a user is browsing sites through the web proxy. Nyunyu, thanks. I wanted to try and keep the site as plain as simple as possible. Unfortunately, I am sure this will slowly change as adverts are added. I will of course do my best to ensure that the adverts do not get in the way. I have already added my proxy to your xytheme (directory) site. |

RE: Comments welcome for hidden1.com
What sort of pay per play ads is it running on? Which company is it, mind sharing?

RE: Comments welcome for hidden1.com
I don't mind sharing Swank.
I had NetAudioAds.com running. I have since removed the advert code since I, personally, didn't see any value. |

RE: Comments welcome for hidden1.com
Ah I see. PPP does not allow proxies anyway
With that said I think PPP is down before its even up. There hasnt been any success with it for the past few months since it started. They promised to pay for every ad as well as delivering ads to every impression but they have badly failed in that getting me only 1k+ ads for over 600k impressions =/

RE: Comments welcome for hidden1.com
It says there no longer a proxy being run on it. Did you find out you cant run a proxy on a shared account?
You need a VPS or dedicated server. |

RE: Comments welcome for hidden1.com
Dollar & nyunyu,
I did have a proxy hosting account and everything was fine. There were then a number of incidents where my site went down due to the company hosting me. After the last incident, in which the site went down for about 3 days, I cancelled my account and moved hosting. Now, I have moved to a shared hosting account because: * I personally did not see much AD revenue from the project * And as such, I am not going to continue spending money in something which I don't think will work out. Nyunyu, I did research the niche and was ready to give it a go. However, due to recent experiences, I think I will stay away for a while. The site, hidden1.com, will now be used as a generic blog for me to post my thoughts and programming projects. I'll see where it takes me from there. Congratulations to all who manage to earn a decent amount from your proxies. |
