Can the "your ad here" image be removed?
Is allowed to remove the "YOU ADD HERE" little button?
[Image: adbrite-your-ad-here-banner.gif]

I dont like this, someone can click on it and then find every single website that you have becuase its lists "other site in the owners network"
This is a serious privacy invasion.

RE: Can the "your ad here" image be removed?
Try to use this code:
Code:
<!-- End: AdBrite --><!-- Begin: AdBrite -->
<script type="text/javascript">
   var AdBrite_Title_Color = '0000FF';
   var AdBrite_Text_Color = '000000';
   var AdBrite_Background_Color = 'FFFFFF';
   var AdBrite_Border_Color = 'FFFFFF';
</script>
<span style="white-space:nowrap;"><script src="http://ads.adbrite.com/mb/text_group.php?sid=XXXXXX&zs=XXXXXXXfXXXX type="text/javascript"></script><!--
--></span>
<!-- End: AdBrite -->
Thank you very much

I don't think adbrite will have any problem with it, as i can't see anything written like that we cant modify the code. You try and say if it is working fine or not.
I said thanks to make my post a bit longer Lol
Thank you very much againWhip

There response

Thanks for emailing!

We can disable this section for you, which would not display any of your sites. Just keep in mind that none of your sites will be listed on our product pages. Please let me know if you would like me to do this for you.

This does not answer my question though. I asked if I could alter the code and remove the Button. Why do they have to give shady answers to publishers?

I believe they will disable the button for you.
And I don't think they would restrict user from taking out the button since we are not listed on their product page anymore.

Dont this mean, that we cant have direct advertisers to buy adspots on the site for the zone?

RE: Can the "your ad here" image be removed?
That's right, if the "Your Ad here button" is taken out, we will not have direct advertisers. But then again on my "better" sites I would rather not have direct advertisers or even adbrite as I could easily sell advertising banners for a lot more than what adbrite could offer.

As for editing adbrite's code, I think its alright as it isn't stated in their ToS to never edit their code.
