I'm sure some of you have promoted your proxies wiht PPC search engines like adwords, ysm, etc. What was your experience - was it worth it in the end because of the returning visitors?

What sort of ad format should i use for better ctr?

Should I run the content network (to get traffic from other smartpriced proxies) or search network only?

I haven't run it for my proxies mainly cause I dont run adwords without setting up conversion tracking to get the most out of my money but I am planning on running some pretty serious campaigns for webproxytalk once certain things are set up.

I prefer only free traffic and can't manage to pay for proxy traffic.
