I was having a talk with a friend of mine recently who was making about $100 a day from adsense and got banned from it. He shared with me that the reason for his banning was due to having ads placed on 1 page websites as well as having them placed on sites with duplicated content. It seems to be that this new rule was implemented in the latest adsense ToS update.

Many proxy owners use the same content on all their proxy networks and the majority of proxies out there only have ads placed on a 1 page proxy homepage. Would this cause any problems which could lead to banning?

Would like to hear from the community.

On each of my new sites, I am starting to put different content, RSS feeds ect. I did read one post last week from someone that got banned, but when I looked at his sites each were the same template with no content at all.

I guess I am going to have to re-read the new TOS update.

Okay, for proxy or site related content, like you can see on most free template, copy and make it as a picture.
Then, put some your-own-word content on the page.
Go search for free rss feed and put them on your site too.

I looked at his sites and there were in fact all the same clone template.


The best thing to do is to just make the templates yourself and give the proxy content. Make each one unique. Then they can't ban you for putting ads on "1 page cloned" sites. You also will actually get a higher ctr with content, belive it or not your visitors will will click on your pages and read your content. Every page load is another chance for them click on a Ad!

Yup, that's the guy. I would think that is why he got banned. I need to go back a re-work some of my year older templates/sites too.

Adding more content / pages is a real good idea..

It seems to be a reoccurring story that you get banned when you hit $100/day. I've heard many times.

I think when you reach high amount of monies per day you grab the attention of the Google employees and they probably inspect your websites. So best have your sites look professional with some content on them.

Dollar what you said probably is true. Who knows, maybe the upcoming recession might cause google to ban even more people..

I also have similar contents but the links differ and also the designing color + the banners and logos will this help ? Though I have similar text descriptions and disclaimer. I need more guideline on this.

It's best to use different text as well, in Adsense TOS it says that even sites with duplicate content owned by the same owner is liable for a ban though they are not so strict on this rule. They are after guys who set up MFA sites mostly for this reason.

Most of the time I hear from my friends that adsense banned their account, Google did that and that I fear I will have to face such things too so I am changing all the text in my sites.
