Over the last few weeks it has been reported that several publishers who uses adbrite in the proxified pages have been banned by adbrite due to generating of invalid page impressions.

I was just wondering could it be botters that surf through the proxies and in turn generate fake impressions which causes adbrite to ban?

What do ya all say?

I've seen some pretty shady stuff with adbrite.
Like I seen this 1 page from adbrite on a proxy where it says "Where can I find these ads?"
and there was Link to a proxified page that had a reload javascript on it. So it would reload the page every 3 seconds. So if you put on there and walked away. While no brainer there...
Something like would get you banned very fast. If I was a working at adbrite and saw that while reviewing your adzones, I would can terminate your account.

Adbrite is a bit more lenient that Adsense in my opinion, but still will ban you.

Today is the most generous day in my life being with Adbrite.
I earn $2 from them today thats only for 2 site!

Few months ago you never hear of adbrite banning people, but in the past 1 month they have banned quite a few mainly proxy webmasters.

maybe they got sick of proxy owners earning much from other people websites..

Yup...They have banned me coz of invalid clicks and I am wondering who did so. They want sever logs with timestamps to reactivate it but i dont have server logs so i moved to GI and Mediashackers.

they asked me for my stats a few weeks ago (don't think that they checked them) after I send everything they asked me the re-opened my account (strange company)

They just slashed 50% of their work force few weeks back I think..some hard times they are facing.

I use them for a long time but never mad a lot of money with them, at the moment that you a little higher earnings they tell you have invalid clicks / impressions

sounds more like a scam, I think I stop with them and wait for my last check...

any alternative for inlinetext ads on proxified pages?
