Was think of buy an .in domain.

Will Google only show this domain on the google.in site or will it be on the shown on the .com? Becuase I never seen a .in or .de or any country specific domains in the SERPS except for the non-country specific TLD like .com .info .biz .net and .org


Certinaly wouldn't want to make a site and have only shown to India surfers.

As long as your site is indexed by google and has a good PR, I believe your site will be on G's list.

Yeah, TLD shouldnt effect the results much. For example see the search result below

The keyword in this link "Reliance Forum" does not have heavy competition and it seems that Reliance Forum is commonly used in India after searching through the first few pages of Search thus it is a possibility that the .in domains can rank high in google.com.

However in terms of CC extension domains, most of the time they only rank well in their own country search for example a .in will rank well in google.in but takes a lot to rank well in google.com. If you are wanting to rank well in google.com I dont suggest you in trying that with a CC domain. Likewise if you own a .com but wanting to rank well in google.in it would be very hard as well unless your .com has backlinks from Indian sites, being hosted on a server based in India, and specify your Indian Address in your .com site then that would help in ranking for google.in.
